1. Disconnect the cable from the negative pole of the battery.
2. Remove the hood latch assembly, but do not disconnect the hood release cable. Place the assembly on the engine outside the working area.
3. Carefully drain the refrigerant.
4. Disconnect the line and hose from the condenser. Support all joints with a second wrench. Do not damage the capacitor. Cover joints and channels immediately to prevent dirt from entering.
5. Loosen the condenser mounting bolts. Remove the capacitor from the vehicle.
6. Install the capacitor in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the mounting sleeves are in place; tighten the mounting bolts to 16 Nm. Fill in refrigerant and bleed air from the system; check the correct functioning.
