Attention. The pump is made of aluminum alloy, so do not drop or damage it. Use a cloth to secure the pump in the vise.
1. Align the pin of the intermediate valve with the outlet in the pump body, install the valve and secure it with a circlip.
2. Install the stuffing box washer and spacer on the pump drive shaft.
Attention. Guide the seal with the groove towards the pump housing.
3. Using a socket wrench, press the drive shaft into the housing.
After installation, check that the shaft rotates smoothly.
4. Install retaining ring (40 mm).
Point the rounded side of the circlip outward.
5. Apply steering fluid to the O-ring and install it in the pump cover groove.
6. Install the outer pressure plate, aligning the holes with the rollers.
7. Install the cam with the mark up and aligning the holes with the rollers.
8. Install the rotor in the cam.
9. Install 10 blades in the rotor slots.
Point the rounded side of the blade outward.
10. Apply steering fluid to the O-ring and install it in the pressure plate groove.
11. Align the holes with the rollers and install the pressure plate on the rotor.
12. Apply steering fluid to the O-ring and install it in the pump housing groove.
13. Install the assembled cover on the pump housing.
Make sure that the components installed on the cover do not fall out.
14. Apply steering fluid to the control valve.
15. Insert the control valve and spring into the pump housing
16. Apply steering fluid to the O-ring and install it in the valve cover groove.
17. Screw the valve cover into the body and tighten to specification.
18. Install the pulley with the flat side up and hand tighten the pulley nut.
19. Clamp the pump in a vise as shown.
Attention. Lay a cloth over the pump housing to prevent damage.
20. While holding the pulley with a metal rod, tighten the pulley nut to the required torque.
Attention. Do not damage the pulley and housing with the metal rod.
21. Check if the pump drive shaft rotates smoothly.
