Caution: The pump is made of aluminum alloy, so do not drop or damage it. When fixing the pump in a vice, put a cloth under it.
1. Align the intermediate valve pin with the outlet hole in the pump body, install the valve and secure it with the retaining ring.
2. Install the seal washer and distance seal onto the pump drive shaft.
Caution: Direct the seal groove towards the pump body.
3. Using a socket wrench, press the drive shaft into the housing.
After installation, check the smooth rotation of the shaft.
4. Install the retaining ring (40 mm).
Point the rounded side of the snap ring outward.
5. Apply power steering fluid to the O-ring and install it into the groove of the pump cover.
6. Install the outer pressure plate, aligning the holes with the rollers.
7. Install the cam with the mark facing up and the holes aligned with the rollers.
8. Install the rotor into the cam.
9. Install 10 blades into the rotor slots.
Point the rounded side of the blade outward.
10. Apply power steering fluid to the O-ring and install it into the groove of the pressure plate.
11. Align the holes with the rollers and install the pressure plate onto the rotor.
12. Apply power steering fluid to the O-ring and install it into the groove of the pump body.
13. Install the assembled cover onto the pump body.
Be careful not to let the components installed on the cover fall out.
14. Apply power steering fluid to the adjusting valve.
15. Insert the control valve and spring into the pump body
16. Apply power steering fluid to the O-ring and install it into the groove of the valve cover.
17. Screw the valve cover into the body and tighten to the required torque.
18. Install the pulley with the flat section facing up and tighten the pulley nut by hand.
19. Clamp the pump in a vice as shown in the figure.
Caution: To avoid damaging the pump body, place a cloth underneath.
20. Holding the pulley with a metal rod, tighten the pulley nut to the required torque.
Caution: Do not damage the pulley and housing with a metal rod.
21. Check if the pump drive shaft rotates smoothly.
