1. Drain the power steering fluid (see above).
2. Disconnect the feed hose and suction hose from the pump. Install plugs on the ends of the hoses.
3. Unscrew the pump mounting bolts and lock bolt, remove the pump.
Do not operate the steering wheel after removing the pump.
4. Install the pump in the reverse order of removal.
Install the pump belt onto the pulley accurately.
Be careful not to let any power steering fluid or oil come into contact with the belt or pump pulley.
After connecting the hoses, make sure they are not kinked.
5. After installing the belt, adjust its tension (see chapter Mechanical part of the engine).
6. Add fresh power steering fluid and bleed the system (see above).
