Control valve
1. Check for damage to valve surfaces. If there is dirt on the mesh, remove it.
2. Install the control valve in the body and check that it moves smoothly in the body.
3. Dip the valve with the attached tube into the steering fluid or flushing oil and apply air at a pressure below 98 kPa (1.0 kg/cm2). If air bubbles come out of the valve, replace the valve.
Attention. If valve replacement is required, replace the pump assembly as the piston is matched to the body.
