Caution: Do not subject the steering column to axial impacts.

1. Move the tilt adjustment lever 3-5 times, and then measure the force of the lever movement at a distance of 10 mm from its end.
- Force: 70-90 N (7-9 kg)
2. If the force differs from the specified one, make the following adjustment:
Loosen the lever and set it to the center position.
Loosen the locking bolt (6 mm) and remove the tilt limiter.
Adjust by turning the tilt lock bolt left or right.
Pull the tilt adjustment lever to the uppermost position, set the tilt limiter and measure the lever movement force again. If the force is still not within the norm, repeat the steps in paragraphs 1-3.
Caution: Tighten the limiter lock bolt when the lever is in the center position.
