1. Remove the rear carrier beam.
2. On left-hand drive vehicles, remove the floor heat shield.
3. On right-hand drive vehicles, remove the shift cable clamp (only on models with CVT). Remove the rear support bracket from the gearbox housing.
4. Set the front wheels to straight ahead.
5. Using the special tool, loosen the locknut of the rail guide screw.
6. Loosen the guide rail screw.
7. Tighten the guide rail screw with a torque of 5 Nm (0.5 kgf/m), then loosen it. Repeat two times.
8. Retighten the guide rail screw to 5 Nm (0.5 kgf/m), then unscrew to the desired angle. Required angle: 10-15°.
9. Tighten the locknut to secure the rail guide screw.
10. Check up a backlash of a steering at rotation of a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop.
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
