- When removing an undamaged airbag assembly from a vehicle being scrapped, or when defects or damage are discovered during transportation, storage or maintenance, the airbag should be unfolded.
- Before removing the steering gear, remove the driver's airbag assembly and steering wheel.
- After installing the steering gear, check the front wheel alignment angles and adjust if necessary.
