2. Measure the voltages between the pin "2" condenser fan motor relay connector and ground. If the voltage does not match the voltage of the battery, then the relay unit should be replaced, if the voltage matches the voltage of the battery, then proceed to step No. 3.
3. Jumper the leads "1" And "2" condenser fan motor relay connector. If the fan rotates, then proceed to step #8, If the fan does not rotate, then proceed to step #4.
4. Remove the jumper from the terminals "1" And "2" condenser fan motor relay connector.
5. Disconnect the condenser fan connector.
6. Check continuity between terminals "1" condenser fan motor relay connector and output "2" connector, condenser fan. If there is continuity between the terminals, go to step #7. If there is no continuity, repair open between the condenser fan and the condenser fan motor relay.
7. Check the continuity between the output "1" condenser fan connector and ground. If there is continuity, the condenser fan should be replaced, if there is no continuity, check that there is no open circuit between the condenser fan and ground. If there are no breaks, check the ground wire (G301).
8. Remove the jumper from the terminals "1" And "2" condenser fan motor relay connector.
9. Turn the ignition key to position "ON".
10. Measure the voltage between the terminal "5" condenser fan motor relay connector and ground.
If the voltage matches the battery voltage, check the circuit between the condenser fan motor relay and the ECM. If the voltage does not match the battery voltage, replace the relay box.
