2. Disconnect the heater blower resistor connector.
3. Disconnect the heater fan speed switch connector.
4. Check the conductivity between the ground and terminals "1", "2", "4" and "5" of the heater fan speed switch connector.

If continuity is present, repair the short circuit in the wiring harness of the heater fan motor, heater fan resistor and heater fan speed switch; if continuity is absent, proceed to step #5.
5. Check the continuity between the terminals of the heater fan speed switch connector and the heater fan resistor according to the table.

If there is continuity, proceed to step #6, if there is none, check the wiring harness between the heater fan speed switch and the heater fan resistor.
6. Check the heater fan speed, if it is OK, replace the heater fan resistor, otherwise, replace the heater fan speed switch.
