Note: Do not use this troubleshooting algorithm if the fan does not work even with the air conditioner on.
1. Check fuse #11 (30 A) of the relay box and fuse #10 (7.5 A) of the fuse box. If the fuses are faulty, they should be replaced and rechecked; if the fuses are OK, proceed to step #2.
2. Remove the condenser fan motor relay from the relay box and test it. If the relay is faulty, replace it; if the relay is OK, proceed to step #3.
3. Measure the voltage between terminal #2 of the condenser fan motor relay connector and ground. If the voltage does not match the battery voltage, then replace the relay unit; if the voltage matches the battery voltage, proceed to step #4.

4. Short-circuit terminals #1 and #2 of the condenser fan motor relay connector with a jumper. If the fan rotates, proceed to step #5. If the fan does not rotate, proceed to step #8.

5. Remove the jumper from terminals No.1 and No.2 of the condenser fan motor relay connector.
6. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
7. Measure the voltage between terminal No.4 of the condenser fan motor relay connector and ground. If the voltage matches the battery voltage, repair the open circuit in the wire between the condenser fan motor relay and the injection system electronic control unit. If the voltage does not match the battery voltage, repair the open circuit between the condenser fan motor relay and fuse No.10 (7.5 A) in the fuse box.

8. Remove the jumper from terminals No.1 and No.2 of the condenser fan motor relay connector.
9. Disconnect the condenser fan connector.
10. Check the continuity between terminals No.1 of the condenser fan motor relay connector and terminal No.2 of the condenser fan connector. If there is continuity between the terminals, go to step No.11. If there is no continuity, repair the open circuit between the condenser fan and the condenser fan motor relay.

11. Check for continuity between terminal #1 of the condenser fan connector and ground. If continuity is present, the condenser fan should be replaced; if there is no continuity, make sure there is no break between the condenser fan and ground. If there is no break, check the ground wire (G301).
