2. Disconnect the sensor wiring connector (ov). Release the wire from any clamps.
3. Use a special cartridge to unscrew the oxygen sensor. This tool will prevent damage to the sensor or wiring.
4. If the probe is to be reused, protect its tip from chemicals, oil, gasoline, etc.
For installation:
5. Coat the sensor threads with anti-seize compound, being careful not to get anything on the sensor tip.
6. Install the sensor in the manifold or exhaust pipe.
7. Tighten the sensor to 45 Nm.
8. Fix the wire and install the wiring connector.
