Cover of a leash of switching assy
1. Unscrew the breather cap and ball set screw, remove the washer, spring and steel ball.
2. Unscrew the special bolt and remove the conical spring washers.
3. Remove the shift lever, driver C and thrust washer from the cover of the shift rod driver.
4. Remove the gland.
Note: When installing, turn the thrust washer with the alloy surface towards the shift lever cover.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Axle of a leash of a gear change assy
1. Unscrew the special bolts and remove the conical spring washers.
2. Remove the retainer, shifters A and B from the axle.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Clearance check
1. Measure a backlash between a leader A of switching and a leader of a choice of transfers.
- Standard (new): 0.05-0.25mm
- Limit: 0.5mm
2. If the clearances exceed the specified limits, measure the diameter of the gear selector pin.
- Standard: 7.9-8.0mm
If the gear selector pin diameter is less than the limit value, replace the pin with a new one.
If the pin diameter is within specification, replace shifter A with a new one.
3. Measure a backlash between a leash In and a leash From a gear change.
- Standard (new): 0.05-0.25mm
- Limit: 0.5mm
4. If the gaps exceed the specified limit, measure the diameter of the shifter pin C.
- Standard: 12.9-13.0mm
If the diameter of the gear lever C is less than the limit value, replace the lever C with a new one.
If the diameter of shifter C is within specification, replace shifter B with a new one.
