2. Remove the shift linkage cover assembly and clean any sealant from it.

3. Loosen the locking bolt.

4. Turn the gear selector lever counterclockwise, then remove the gear shift lever pin A from the shift fork groove.
5. Turn the shift rod shaft counterclockwise and remove the gear selector rod pin from the groove of shift rod A, then remove the shift rod shaft assembly.
6. Remove the vehicle speed sensor (VSS).

7. Loosen the ball lock screws, remove the washers, springs, steel balls and the reversing light switch.

8. Remove the flange bolt, drain plug and filler plug.

9. Loosen the gearbox housing mounting bolts crosswise in several passes.

10. Unscrew the 32mm plug.

11. Spread the ends of the snap ring on the intermediate shaft ball bearing and remove it from the groove using snap ring pliers.
12. Separate the gearbox housing from the clutch housing.
13. Remove the reference pins and clean them from the sealant.
14. Remove the oil pan, 78mm gasket and oil transfer plate M.

15. Unscrew the spring bolt.

16. Knock out the spring pin first halfway with a punch, then remove it with pliers.

17. Remove the gear selector lever, springs, washer and linkage.

18. Remove the oil seal.
19. Remove the reverse locking cam.

20. If necessary, check the clearance of the reverse shift fork holder.
21. Remove the reverse shift fork holder.

22. Remove the reverse gear shaft and reverse idler gear.

23. Remove the secondary and intermediate shafts together with the shift forks from the clutch housing.
Note: Before removing the secondary and intermediate shaft assemblies, wrap the splined portion of the secondary shaft with electrical tape to protect it.

24. Remove the differential assembly.
