Eliminating oil leaks
1. Loosen the mounting bolts crosswise, unscrew them and remove the differential housing. Remove the seals.
2. Apply sealant to the sealing surfaces.
Attention.
- Use Honda 1216 sealant.
- Remove old sealant, dirt and oil from sealing surfaces.
- If more than 20 minutes have passed since applying the sealant, do not perform assembly, but reapply the sealant.
- Fill the differential with oil 30 minutes or more after assembly.
3. Install the differential housing and tighten the bolts in a cross pattern.
4. Install the seals (see below).
