Connecting rods — selection (Honda HR-V 1)

Depending on the diameter of the big head, all connecting rods are divided into four groups according to the tolerance limit (from 0 to +0.024 mm in increments of 0.006 mm). This limit is indicated by a stamped number (1, 2, 3 or 4).

You can find any combination of numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4 in any engine. Nominal diameter: 48.0 mm

Note:

• Reference numbers indicate the diameter of the big end of the connecting rod and do NOT relate to the location of the connecting rod in the engine.
• Check the connecting rod for cracks or heat damage.
