Note: If the cylinder has been rebored, a piston of increased repair size should be installed.
2. Measure the piston diameter at point A from the bottom of the skirt. Piston diameter:
- Standard (new): 74.980-74.990 mm
- Limit: 74.970 mm
3. Calculate the difference between the cylinder diameter (see below) and piston diameter.
Clearance between piston and cylinder wall:
- Standard (new): 0.010-0.040 mm
- Limit: 0.05 mm
If the clearance is close to or exceeds the wear limit, inspect the piston and cylinder block for excessive wear.
Oversized piston diameter:
- by 0.25: 75.23-75.24 mm
- by 0.50: 75.48-75.49 mm
