Normally open relay type A:

1. Check for conductivity between the contacts.
- When power and ground are applied to contacts #3 and #5, there should be conductivity between contacts #1 and #2.
- When the power supply is cut off, there should be no conductivity between contacts No.1 and No.2.

- Relay 1 headlights
- Relay 2 headlights
- Radiator Fan Relay
- Condenser Fan Relay
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Relay
- Horn relay
- Electric window relay
- Tail light relay
- Seat Heater Main Relay (Model KG)
- Starter cut-off relay (left hand drive: CVT)
- Shift Lock Relay (KQ, KU: CVT models)

Normally open relay type B:

1. Check for conductivity between the contacts.
- When power and ground are applied to contacts #2 and #4, there should be conductivity between contacts #1 and #3.
- When the power supply is cut off, there should be no conductivity between contacts No.1 and No.3.

- Fan motor relay.
