2. Reassemble the shock absorber in the reverse order of disassembly, except for the shock absorber washer and self-locking nut. Align the bottom of the shock absorber spring and the lower spring seat as shown in the figure.
1. STRUT SPRING COMPRESSOR (commercially available) BRANICK(c) T/N MST-580A or Model 7200 or equivalent
2. LOWER SPRING SEAT
3. Compress the shock absorber spring.
4. Install the shock absorber washer and new 12mm self-locking nut.
1. HEX KEY
2. SELF-LOCKING NUT, 12x1.25 mm, 44 Nm (4.5 kgf/m). Replace.
3. SHOCK ABSORBER WASHER
5. Secure the shock absorber rod with an Allen key and tighten the 12mm self-locking nut.
