1. Wind the protective tape (C) onto the drive shaft (A).

2. Install the boot (B) onto the drive shaft.
3. Remove the protective tape.
4. Align the marks (D) on the drive shaft (A), the inner race (B) of the joint and the separator (C) and assemble the joint.

5. Install the snap ring (F) into the groove of the drive shaft.
6. Fill the outer race of the inner joint with grease.
- Grease - NKG708
- Amount of grease - 65-85 g

7. Install the outer race (A) of the joint, aligning the marks (C) on the separator (B) and the outer race.

8. Install the retaining ring (D),
9. Place the cover (E) on the outer race.
10. Adjust the position of the outer race of the inner joint so that the distances shown in the figure correspond to the standard.

11. Pass the clamp (A) through the fastener (B) twice to make two loops.

12. Tighten the clamp (A) and place a mark on the clamp so that the distance between the mark (C) and the retainer (B) is 10-14 mm.

13. Install the special tool (A) and, by turning the adjusting bolt (B), tighten the clamp so that the retainer is set according to the mark (C).

14. Turn the special fixture 90° as shown in the figure and pin the retainer in the center.

15. Cut the clamp so that the distance shown in the figure is 5-10 mm.

16. Bend the clamp (A) as shown in the figure.

17. Make sure that the clamps are not loose. If necessary, remove the clamps and install new ones.
18. Install the snap ring (A) into the groove (B) of the drive shaft.

1. Apply protective tape (C) to the splines of the drive shaft (A) on the outer joint side.

2. Install the boot (B) onto the drive shaft.
3. Remove the protective tape.
4. Install the snap ring (B) into the groove (A) of the drive shaft.

5. Press the retaining ring (A) at the locations shown in the figure and install the drive shaft (C) into the joint (B).

6. Finally install the drive shaft into the joint as shown in the figure.
Note: When performing this procedure, ensure that the drive shaft and the hinge shaft are aligned.

7. Using a ruler (B), make sure that the mark (C) is level with the end of the hinge (A).

8. Apply grease to the hinge.
- Grease - NKG708
- Amount of grease - 40-60 g

9. Install the boot (C) so that it fits into the grooves of the drive shaft (B) and the joint (A) as shown in the figure.

10. Pass the clamp (A) through the fastener (B) twice to make two loops.

11. Tighten the clamp (A) and place a mark on the clamp so that the distance between the mark (C) and the retainer (B) is 10-14 mm.

12. Install the special tool (A) and, by turning the adjusting bolt (B), tighten the clamp so that the retainer is set at the mark (C).

13. Turn the special tool 90° as shown in the figure and screw the clamp into the center.

14. Cut the clamp so that the distance shown in the figure is 5-10 mm.

15. Bend the clamp (A) as shown in the figure.
