Front Intermediate Drive Shaft — Assembly (Honda Fit 1)

1. Clean the contact surfaces of the removed parts.

2. Using special tools, press the bearing (B) into the bracket (A).



3. Install the inner snap ring.



4. Using a press and special tool (C), press the intermediate shaft (A) into the bearing (B).



5. Install the outer snap ring (A).



6. Apply grease to the oil seal at the location shown in the figure and install the oil seal.







7. Install the retaining ring.
