Rear Drive Shafts — Installation (Honda Fit 1)

1. Install the drive shaft (B) into the rear wheel hub (A).

Note: Do not damage the wheel speed sensor when installing the drive shaft.

2. Connect the drive shaft assembly with the hub to the steering knuckle and mudguard and tighten the mounting bolts.

Tightening torque:

• Bolt (A) - 9.3 Nm
• Bolts (B) - 64 Nm

3. Install the wheel speed sensor.



4. Install the brake drum (see chapter "Brake system").

5. Connect the drive shaft to the output shaft of the gearbox.

6. Install the wheel and tighten the mounting nuts.

• Tightening torque - 108 Nm
