
1. Measure the height when the pedal is released.
2. Measure the pedal free play.
3. Adjust the pedal free play by turning the clutch cable adjusting nut. The nut is located at the end of the cable housing near the clutch release fork lever.
4. Turn the adjusting nut until the pedal free play is 15-25 mm.
5. After adjustment, check that the free play of the end of the clutch release lever is within the range of 5.2-6.4 mm.
Insufficient free play will cause the clutch to slip and wear prematurely. Excessive free play will cause difficult gear shifting. Check the clutch free play regularly and adjust it if necessary.
