It is necessary to bleed the system every time when disassembling, or in the event of a leak. The bleed screw is located on the working cylinder.
1. Remove the protective cover of the screw.
2. Attach a clean hose to the bleed screw. Place the other end of the hose in a clean container half full of brake fluid.
3. Fill the clutch master cylinder with fresh brake fluid.
4. Slightly open the screw and ask the assistant to slowly depress the clutch pedal. When the pedal reaches the end of travel, close the bleed screw. Let the pedals slowly return to their original position.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 until all air bubbles are out of the system.
6. Drain the brake fluid into a drain container. Replace the screw cover. Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid.
