Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector and unscrew the sensor.
A - oxygen sensor connector,
B - oxygen sensor.
2. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the oxygen sensor heater
1. Check the resistance of the oxygen sensor heater.
- a) Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
- b) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
- c) Check the resistance between terminals "3" and "4" of the oxygen sensor heater.

- Nominal resistance - 6 Ohm
If the resistance is not within the nominal value, replace the sensor.
2. Check the oxygen sensor heater circuit for a short to ground. Check for continuity between terminals "3" and "4" of the oxygen sensor heater and ground. If there is continuity, replace the sensor.

3. Check the power supply to the oxygen sensor heater from the ECU.
a) Turn the ignition key to the "ON(II)" position.
6) Check the voltage between terminals "3" and "4" of the oxygen sensor heater connector.
- Nominal voltage is the voltage of the battery.
1 - throttle cable,
2 - throttle body,
3 - crankcase ventilation system valve,
4 - air duct,
5 - air filter.
