To prevent damage to the alternator, stabilizer, and ECU, the following precautions should be observed when working on vehicle electrical equipment:
1. Never reverse the polarity of the contacts on the battery. Always check the polarity of the battery terminals. This must be done before any connection to absolutely ensure polarity is correct.
2. Batteries should be properly connected to adjust the voltage. You need to make sure that the positive terminal of the amplifier is connected to the positive terminal of the battery.
3. Disconnect the battery cables before using the charger. Otherwise, it will cause damage.
4. Never use the charger to start the engine.
5. Never disconnect the alternator or stabilizer terminals while the engine is running.
6. Do not ground the generator output terminal.
7. Do not operate the generator with the cover removed.
8. Be sure to disconnect the battery cables and remove the alternator before using the electric arc on a vehicle.
9. Protect the generator from excessive moisture. If the engine is being steam cleaned, close or remove the generator.
