To prevent damage to the generator, stabilizer, and ECU, the following precautions should be taken when working with the vehicle's electrical equipment:
1. Never reverse the polarity of the battery terminals. Always check the polarity of the battery terminals. This should be done before any connection to ensure absolute correct polarity.
2. The batteries should be connected properly to regulate the voltage. Make sure that the positive terminal of the booster is connected to the positive terminal of the battery.
3. Please disconnect the battery cables before using the charger, otherwise it will cause damage.
4. Never use a battery charger to start the engine.
5. Never disconnect the generator or stabilizer contacts while the engine is running.
6. Do not ground the generator output terminal.
7. Do not use the generator with the cover removed.
8. Always disconnect the battery cables and remove the alternator before using an electric arc welder on a vehicle.
9. Protect the generator from excessive moisture. If the engine is steam cleaned, cover or remove the generator.
