Slip ring
The contact ring allows the contacts to operate in any position of the steering wheel. The contact ring can be accessed by removing the steering wheel. Disconnect from the connectors and remove the contact ring assembly.
1984-85 Accord and 1984-87 Prelude
If the Set/Resume switch fails, the steering wheel will need to be replaced.
1986-91 Accord 1988-91 Prelude
If the Set/Resume switch fails, the steering wheel must be removed and the switch assembly replaced.
