Intermediate shaft — wear check (Honda HR-V 1)

1. Check the gear and bearing surfaces for wear and damage, then take measurements on the intermediate shaft at points A, B and C.

	Standard	Limit
A:	36,000-36,015 mm	35.95 mm
IN:	36,984-37,000 mm	36.93 mm
WITH:	24,987-25,000 mm	24.94 mm

If any part of the intermediate shaft is less than the specified limits, replace it with a new one.

2. Check the runout.

• Standard: 0.02 max.
• Limit: 0.05 mm

Note: Place the intermediate shaft with both ends on the supports as shown in the figure.

If the runout exceeds the specified limit, replace the intermediate shaft with a new one.
