Note: The synchronizer sleeve and hub must be replaced as an assembly.
1. Measure the clearance between the 1st gear and the thrust washer.
- Standard: 0.06-0.18mm
- Limit: 0.23 mm
2. If the clearance is greater than the specified limit, measure the thickness of the thrust washer.
- Standard: 1.95-1.97 mm
3. If the thickness is less than the standard, replace the thrust washer with a new one. If the thickness is within the standard, measure the thickness of the 1st gear.
- Standard: 26.95-27.00 mm
If the thickness of the 1st gear is less than the standard, replace it with a new one.
If the 1st gear thickness is within the normal range, replace with a new 1st/2nd gear synchronizer hub.
4. Measure the gap between the 2nd and 3rd gears.
- Standard: 0.07-0.14 mm
- Limit: 0.18 mm
5. If the gap exceeds the limit, measure the bushing thickness.
6. If the thickness is less than the specified limits, replace the bushing with a new one. If the thickness is within the norm, measure the thickness of the 2nd gear.
- Standard: 28.92-28.97 mm
If the thickness of the 2nd gear is less than the specified limits, replace it with a new one.
If the 1st gear thickness is within the normal range, replace with a new 1st/2nd gear synchronizer hub.
