A) Engage neutral gear.
b) Jack up the car.
V) Turn away bolts (IN), remove the fasteners (A) and remove the bracket (WITH).
V) Shaking the driveshaft (D), check that there is no excessive play in the intermediate bearing (F).
G) Check for any damage to the anthers.
d) While shaking the cardan shaft, make sure that there is no excessive play in the swivel joint.
If necessary, replace the defective element.
2. Check the runout of the cardan shaft.
A) Install a dial gauge.
b) Rotate the cardan shafts and measure the radial runout.
- Maximum runout - 1.5 mm

Cardan shaft No. 2
If the radial runout exceeds the maximum allowable, replace the cardan shaft.
