Cylinder head assembly (Honda Fit 1)

1. Lubricate the valve stems with engine oil and install them into the guide bushings.

2. Make sure the valves move up and down freely.

3. Install the spring seats onto the cylinder head.

4. Install new oil seals using a special tool.

Note: The exhaust valve stem seal spring is black and the intake valve stem seal spring is white.

5. Install the valve spring.

6. Install the valve spring retainer.

7. Install the spring compressor. Compress the springs and install the crackers.



8. Using a plastic-faced hammer, blindly strike the special device installed on the end of the valve stem to ensure that the valve is securely fixed with crackers.
