Checking the wheel runout (Honda Fit 1)

1. Jack up the car and place it on stands.

2. Install the dial indicator as shown in the figure and check the axial runout of the wheel.

• Nominal axial runout - 0-1 mm
• Maximum axial runout - 2 mm

3. Install the dial indicator as shown in the figure and check the radial runout of the wheel.

• Nominal radial runout - 0-0.7 mm
• Maximum axial runout - 2 mm

If the runout is greater than maximum, check the clearance in the wheel bearing and the disc for dents.
