Front Wheel Steering Knuckle and Hub — Installation (Honda Fit 1)

1. Press the new bearing (B) into the steering knuckle (D) using the old bearing (A), steel plate (C) and special tools as shown in the figure.

Note: The bearing must be installed with the speed sensor rotor (E) (brown) facing inside the steering knuckle.

2. Install the snap ring (A) into the steering knuckle.

3. Install the mudguard (B) onto the steering knuckle and tighten the screws.

• Tightening torque - 5.9 Nm

4. Using special tools and a press, press the hub (A) into the steering knuckle (B).



5. Install the hub assembly with the steering knuckle in the reverse order of removal.

Note: After installation, check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment angles.
