1. The condition of the windshield wiper assemblies should be checked regularly in accordance with the vehicle's routine maintenance schedule. The wipers are inspected for mechanical damage, signs of loosening of the component fastenings and wear of the rubber working elements.

2. Over time, road film accumulates on the working surfaces of the brushes, which leads to a noticeable decrease in the efficiency of the windshield wipers. Regularly wash the brushes with a medium-concentration cleaning solution.

3. During the operation of the windshield wipers, the fasteners may gradually loosen spontaneously; the reliability of their fit and tightening should also be checked regularly.
