Accord 1985-86 and Prelude 1986-89
If the CYL sensor or TDC sensor test result is bad, replace them as a unit.
1. Disconnect the connector from the crankshaft angle sensor.
2. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals. The resistance should be 0.65-0.85 kOhm.
3. Measure the insulation resistance between the (white and red on 1985 Accord, white and orange on 1986 Accord and 1986-89 Prelude) sensor terminal and the crankshaft angle sensor housing. The resistance should be 100 kΩ or greater.
