Accord 1986 and Prelude 1986-89
1. Disconnect the connector and remove the TW sensor from the thermostat housing.
2. To test the sensor, place it in cold water while heating it slowly. Measure the resistance between the contacts. It should be 0.98-1.34 kOhm at 40°C and 0.22-0.35 kOhm at 80°C.
3. Remove the sensor if the resistance does not match the standard. When installing the sensor, screw it with a torque of 28 Nm.
