Warning! Make sure the lifts are properly installed (see ch. 1).
1. Stop the vehicle on level ground and check the differential fluid with the engine off.
2. Unscrew the filler plug, then check the level and condition of the liquid.
3. The liquid level should reach the lower edge of the filling hole. If it is low, add the recommended type of fluid until it starts to flow out of the hole, then tighten the plug with a new washer.
4. If the differential fluid is dirty, remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
5. Clean the drain plug, put a new washer on it and fill the differential with the recommended type of fluid to the required level.
Note: If the differential is disassembled, check the fluid level again after completing the 4WD system check. Add fluid if necessary.
6. Replace the filler plug with a new washer.
Liquid capacity:
- 1.0 L at fluid change
- 1.2 l when repaired
