Warning: Make sure the lifts are installed correctly (see chapter 1).
1. Stop the vehicle on a level surface and check the differential fluid with the engine off.
2. Unscrew the filler plug, then check the level and condition of the liquid.

3. The fluid level should reach the bottom edge of the filler hole. If it is lower, add the recommended fluid until it starts to flow out of the hole, then tighten the plug, installing a new washer.
4. If the differential fluid is dirty, remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.

5. Clean the drain plug, install a new washer on it and fill the differential with the recommended type of fluid to the required level.
Note: If the differential is disassembled, check the fluid level again after completing the 4WD system check. Add fluid if necessary.
6. Screw the filler plug back in, installing a new washer.
Liquid capacity:
- 1.0 l when changing the fluid
- 1.2 l during repair

- Genuine Honda ATF PREMIUM (Automatic Transmission Fluid-PREMIUM)
