2. Drain the oil from the rear differential (see above).
3. Mark the flanges of the driveshaft and rear differential.
4. Separate the driveshaft from the rear differential.

5. Secure the ball joint of the stabilizer link with a hex key and unscrew the flange nut, then separate the front stabilizer link and the front stabilizer.

6. Disconnect the breather tube from the rear differential.

7. Remove the four rear differential support A mounting bolts.

8. Remove the two rear differential support B mounting bolts.

9. Pry the drive shaft with a screwdriver as shown in the figure until the retaining ring on the end of the drive shaft comes out of the groove. Be careful not to damage the seals.

10. Lower the rear differential on the jack.
