Removal, installation and adjusting the accelerator cable (Honda Fit 1)

1. Open the throttle fully and disconnect the inner accelerator cable.



2. Loosen the lock nut and remove the outer cable from the bracket.

3. Remove the cable from the accelerator pedal.



4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

5. Install the accelerator cable to the top of the bracket and adjust its tension using the adjusting nut.

6. Move the cable to the bottom of the bracket and tighten the lock nut.

Note:

• Make sure the lock nut is tightened securely.
• Check the idle speed after installing the cable. If the speed is different from the nominal, adjust the position of the accelerator cable.
