Circuit breakers are used to protect components of the on-board electrical system such as air bag module resistors, window/sunroof motors, etc.

On some models, the circuit breakers automatically return to their original state after being triggered. If the overload that caused the circuit breaker to trip was not episodic, the condition of the corresponding circuit should be checked without delay. After the fault has been eliminated, the circuit breaker will return to normal operation. Sometimes, the circuit breaker must be returned to its working state manually after the cause of the overload has been eliminated.

To reset the breaker, disconnect the negative battery cable.

Attention! If the car stereo system is equipped with a security code, before disconnecting the battery, make sure you have the correct combination to activate the audio system! Remove the breaker, insert a thin rod into the specially provided hole in the housing and push it into the hole until it clicks. Then it makes sense to use an ohmmeter to make sure there is conductivity between the breaker terminals and only then install it in place.
