Checking the play in the connections and checking the covers
1. Shift into neutral.
2. Using a jack, raise the vehicle and install supports.
3. Check for any play in the area where the central bearing support and propeller shaft No.2 connect.
4. Check the covers for damage.
5. Check the installation reliability and play of the universal joint.
6. If the above check does not reveal any faults, proceed to check the runout of the propeller shaft.
Cardan shaft runout
1. Install the indicator in the center of the cardan shaft No.1 or No.2.
2. Block one rear wheel, slowly turn the other wheel and check the driveshaft runout.
