Automatic transmission selector lever — removal (Honda Avancier 1)

1. Remove the lower front console panel and the audio system panel (to remove the Low Hold switch, see chapter Body).

2. Remove the wiring clamps and disconnect the connectors of the D3 and Low Hold switches, as well as the shift lock solenoid.



3. Set the selector lever to position R and loosen the control cable nut.



4. Turn the holder 90° counterclockwise, remove the cable from the bracket and disconnect it from the selector lever assembly.



Remove the cable by holding the holder, not the tube.



5. Unscrew the bracket mounting bolts and remove the selector lever assembly.
