Do not damage the instrument panel, steering column or removable components.
Secure the components with clamps so that no gaps are formed.
When working with a screwdriver, protect the components with protective tape or cloth. Also, wrap the screwdriver with tape so as not to damage the components. Remove the lower cover of the instrument panel on the front passenger side (see below).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Check the clamps for damage and replace them if necessary.
