Attention: Install the jack and stands only in designated places.
1. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
2. Replace the sealing washer and tighten the drain plug.
3. Remove the mudguard.
4. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector and remove the exhaust pipe A.

5. Remove the control cable and unscrew the cable stand bolts.
6. Remove the shift shaft, then remove the lever from the control shaft and disconnect the cable.
Do not bend the cable too much during installation.
7. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the transfer case.
Apply alignment marks to the driveshaft and transfer case.
8. Remove the transfer case from the automatic transmission.
