- If there is a leak from under the box cover, remove the cover and replace the O-rings.
- If there is a leak at the point where the transfer case and torque converter meet, remove the transfer case and replace the O-ring.
- If there is a leak in the connecting flange, remove the transfer case and replace the seal and O-ring.
- If replacing the coupling flange seal, loosen the driven gear shaft lock nut and check the shaft rotation torque (see MC/MD Transfer Case Operation Manual (60PCJ00)).
