2. Center the spiral wire.
- Turn the coiled wire clockwise until it stops.
- Turn the coil wire counterclockwise approximately 2 turns and point the arrow upward.

3. Install the steering wheel.
Caution: Do not hit the steering column in the axial direction.
Align the tab on the turn signal canceling sleeve with the slot on the steering wheel shaft.
Align the spiral wire pins with the steering wheel holes.

4. Tighten the steering wheel bolt to the required torque.
Install the special steering wheel bolt.
5. Connect the ground, audio control, adaptive cruise control switch and horn switch connectors.
6. Install the driver's airbag on the steering wheel (see chapter Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)).
7. Check the following:
- Operation of the horn switch and audio system control switch.
- Correspondence of the steering wheel position to the vehicle's forward movement.
- To fine-tune the position of the steering wheel, turn the left and right rack ends the same number of turns.
