1. Using the special tool, loosen the lock nut and use a spanner wrench to adjust the rail guide screw to the standard angle. Using a TORX wrench, tighten the guide screw to 5 N·m (0.5 kg m), loosen the screw and then re-tighten to 5 N·m (0.5 kg m).
2. Using a spanner wrench, unscrew the guide rail screw to the standard angle.
- Standard return angle: no more than 25+0-5
3. Use a spanner wrench to secure the rail guide screw and use a TORX wrench and special tool to tighten the locknut.
When tightening a lock nut using a special tool, there is a difference between the TORX torque reading and the actual torque. Read the tightening torque as follows.
Calculation formula: Force read from the TORX key = [Effective length of the TORX key (m) x Required tightening torque (N·m (kg m))]/ (Effective TORX key length (m) + 0,15 (m))
Calculation example: [0.345 (m) x 67 Nm (6.8 kg m)]/ (0345 (m) + 0,15 (m)) = 46 N·m (4.7 kg m)
