Attention: it is strictly forbidden to tow 4WD vehicles using the partial loading method, i.e. lifting one of the vehicle axles.
Note: towing of vehicles with automatic transmission is permitted at a speed of no more than 30 km/h for a distance of no more than 80 km. If towing is necessary for a longer distance, it must be done using the full loading method. For 2WD models, towing is possible by partially loading the middle axle of the vehicle. Towing of vehicles with a CVT is prohibited.
Use extreme caution when towing your vehicle. Avoid sudden starts and abrupt maneuvers that may place excessive stress on the towing rope or chain. The loops, rope, or chain may break and cause serious injury or damage.
Remove the plug from the bumper and install the towing eye as shown in the figure.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Set the gearshift lever to neutral or the automatic transmission selector to position "N".
3. The ignition key must be in position "I" (engine not running) or "II" (engine running).
Note: Do not remove the key from the ignition, as this will lock the steering wheel. If the engine is not running, the brake and steering boosters will not work, so the effort on the controls will be much greater than usual.
4. Use caution when towing a stuck vehicle. Stay clear of vehicles and the towing rope.
5. To tow other vehicles, use the towing hook shown in the figure.
