Attention: it is strictly forbidden to tow 4WD vehicles using the partial loading method, i.e. with lifting from one of the axles of the vehicle.
Attention: towing cars with automatic transmission is allowed at a speed of no more than 30 km/h for a distance of no more than 80 km. If it is necessary to tow over a longer distance, it should be carried out using the full loading method. For 2WD models, towing by partial loading of the middle axle of the vehicle is possible. Towing vehicles with a CVT is prohibited.
Use extreme caution when towing your vehicle. Avoid sudden starts and sudden maneuvers that could put excessive force on the towline or chain. The hinges, towline or chain can break and cause serious injury or damage.
Remove the plug from the bumper and install the towing eye as shown.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Set the shift lever to the neutral position or the automatic transmission selector to the position "N".
3. The ignition key must be in position "I" (engine not running) or "II" (engine running).
Note: Do not remove the key from the ignition as this will lock the steering wheel. If the engine is not running, then the brake and steering boosters will not work, so the forces on the controls will be much more than usual.
4. Exercise caution when towing a stuck vehicle. Stay away from vehicles and tow lines.
5. To tow other vehicles, use the tow hook shown in the illustration.
