The single electric lock system allows you to lock and unlock the door locks without a key. To lock all the doors at the same time, press the upper "LOCK" button on the remote control while near the car; unlock the doors by pressing the left "UNLOCK" button. When unlocking the door locks with the remote control, the interior lighting automatically turns on (the light switch must be in the middle position). If, after unlocking the locks with the remote control, no door is opened within 10 seconds, the interior lighting will automatically turn off. If you re-lock the locks with the remote control before the specified 10 seconds have passed, the interior lighting will immediately turn off.
If none of the vehicle doors are opened within 30 seconds after unlocking them with the remote control, all locks will be automatically re-locked.
If the key is left in the ignition or any of the doors are not closed securely, it is not possible to operate the door locks using the remote control.
Some models have the ability to unlock the tailgate/trunk lid using the single locking remote control - press and hold the lower right button of the remote control for about one second.
Note: If the key is in the ignition switch, it is not possible to unlock the door using the remote control.
High security door locking system
This system can be included in the standard package of some models and serves to increase the effectiveness of anti-theft protection of the car and any objects in it. The system can be initiated from the remote control, for which it is necessary to press the upper button of the remote control twice within 5 seconds.
The door locks on models equipped with this system are locked even with the windows down and the sunroof open.
Attention! It is also impossible to unlock doors locked with this system from inside the car!
Replacing the battery
The following external signs indicate that the battery level of the remote control has decreased and that it needs to be replaced:
- a) When pressing the buttons on the remote control, the indicator LED built into the key fob does not light up;
- b) Locking/unlocking the doors requires repeated pressing of the remote control buttons.
A dead battery should be replaced immediately with a new one, such as CR2025.
To replace the battery, remove the round cover located on the back of the remote control. The cover is removed by turning it counterclockwise. You can use a small coin for this. Remove the old battery from the remote control, paying attention to the polarity of its connection. Insert the new battery into the remote control, turning it with the side with the "+" sign facing up.

Install the cover in its regular place on the remote control, aligning the CC mark on the cover with the "p" mark on the body, then turn the cover clockwise.
Rules for handling and caring for the remote control
Do not subject the remote control to strong impact loads, do not drop or throw it. Do not expose the remote control to extremely high or low temperatures, do not leave it in direct sunlight for a long time. Use a soft cloth to clean the outside of the remote control. The use of solvents or aggressive cleaning agents may cause erosion of the surface of the remote control. Immersion of the remote control in water or other liquid may result in its failure.
If you lose your remote control, contact your Honda authorized service station to purchase a replacement and program it for your vehicle's single lock system. At the same time as purchasing and programming a new remote control, you must reprogram the other remaining remote control.
