You can check the operation of the brake lights as follows:
- Stop the car.
- Set the automatic transmission selector lever to position P and, without pressing the brake pedal, turn on the "CRUISE" switch.
- Press and hold the "SET/DESEL" switch for more than 3 seconds.
- Check if the brake lights come on briefly.
If the brake lights do not come on, go for diagnostics without turning on the cruise control.
The IHCC system operates under the following conditions:
The automatic transmission selector lever is in positions "D", "D ₃ ", "2".
The speed of movement is within 65-100 km/h.
The windshield wiper does not work in the "H1" mode.
The brake pedal is not pressed.
The system may not work even if the above conditions are met in bad weather conditions where distance measurement is not possible.
Note: If you put your foot on the accelerator pedal while the IHCC system is operating, the system will shut off, the indicator (green) will light, a beep will sound, the display will show "NO TARGET" and the system will shut off. If you take your foot off the accelerator pedal, the system will restart and begin driving.
