Note: The control unit is built into the main power window switch and controls only the driver's door window operations.
1. Remove the power window master switch and armrest pocket on the door panel.
2. Disconnect the 14-pin connector from the power window master switch.
3. Check the connector and socket contacts to ensure that they make good contact (Figure).
- If contacts are bent, loose or corroded, repair the defects and retest the system.
- If the contacts appear to be OK, perform the following tests on the connector.
- If any of the tests indicate a problem, find and correct the cause, then retest the system.
- If the input test shows normal, the control unit must be faulty, replace it.

Disconnect the connector from the power window master switch
Connect the connector to the main power window switch
